The aim of Napút (Sunway) Art Academy is to establish a new and modern art training based on Rudolf Steiner's spiritual science.  

Our aim is to establish harmony in people between TRUE, BEAUTY and GOOD. TRUE shall show us  Ahriman and Lucifer's acts in art life and history. It may give us faith in development. The power of BEAUTY shall give us courage to continue the cretaion process of Earth. It may give us faith in the reality of creative forces. The power of GOOD shall bring us the sacrifice of selflessness to bring new life to creative communities, teams. It may give us faith in human dignity.

Our long trem aim is to create a free institute supported by a real community, which is able to create harmony between TRUE, BEAUTY and GOOD.  

Our training aim is to create an exchange between anthroposophycal nature concept and art. For this purpuse we need to establish a living nature concept. In the future we would like to use our work achivements in social life, such as  exhibitions, public debates, discussions, pedagogy, therapy work.

My peers! (fellows)

When a Centrum is gone there is always a new possibility to strengthen the peripheries and to

develop a new alliance. The power of the Centrum can be wakened in this new alliance.

In occult meaning all the wars around the world are against the souls, and – territorially –

against Europe, within that against the mission of the “Middle”.

A strong vision want to affect in the future: this vision is about a dual world where every

single individual forced to live in a spiritual slavery under the rule of an impersonal

intelligence. People will be tempted by very sophisticated amusements otherwise they

couldn’t sustain the colonization of their souls. Those powers of the world signed art

as “leisure-therapy”, “fitness-creativity”.

An occult eye is able to recognize this polarization in the “body” of the Art. From one

hand appears the abstract conceptualism that has just a sign-like connection to the sensual-

physicality; from other hand there is intuition full of wishes that couldn’t reach the cosmic

thoughts.

These are only symptoms. This polarization has many manifestation-forms. And, if we

are brave enough to take a look into this pre-prepared future, we can see: together with the

evolution of the mechanical images is developing a technology that can create images inside

the soul. This wish-full and formidable net of the images will imprison the soul.

They want to catch souls.

And art will leave this world.

It happens if we don’t do something immediately, urgently and responsibly.

Look at the symptoms and you can see that art is missing the IMAGINATION. We have to turn

to the healing power of the pictures! We can see that one side is full of thoughts, the other

side is full of sensual-physical elements, but the two sides are unable to unite and to show a

real IMAGINATON of our time. (Movies’ pictures fill up the hiatus)

Only anthroposophy can show for the modern human how he can rise up to the level of

IMAGINATION consciously.

Modern time also requires real spiritual communities; some sensible content can be cared and

transferred only in a community. Community can generate creative acts for the future.

Our school, the Napút Alternative Art Academy is 4 years old. In two classes we have almost

60 students. Besides painting, drawing and sculpturing we also pay attention to different

sciences, like biology, astronomy, chemise, anthroposophist healing. We study Bothmer-

gymnastic, too.

Though we are in the very beginning , we have many observation, experience and question.

We would like to share it with other similar institutes, or with artists who – according to their

anthroposophy studies - feel responsibility for renewing art.

For that, what we can offer in this grimy time is: alliance. Let’s make a explorative and

creative alliance, together! To make the first step: we organize a scientific conference in 2011,

September, on our beautiful Hungarian field, at the eastern edge of Middle-Europe, to have

detailed conversation about the profession and future of Art.

How can we capacitate the tools of Art, how these tools can express spiritual truths?

How could become composition, colour, form, and material the carrier of spirituality?

What is the connection between development of Art and renewed mysteries?

How Art can be baptized? what is Christian Art?

What medicine can put away those under-sense powers that beaked into the field of Art?

where this medicine coming from?

What can arise from the Death of Art?

What can we call “professionalism” in fine-art?

How inspiration changed in our time?

This conference is for concrete acts! Conversation should be followed by practical steps!
